

CLARKE, Greta Loretta - 78, Dartmouth, passed away in the presence of her loved ones Sunday, February 27 at the VG Hospital. Born in Southeast Passage, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Erma (Dunsworth) Tupper.
Greta was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, who was the heart and soul of her family.
A longstanding member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Port Wallis, Greta was president of the A.C.W. and played an integral part in facilitating the Lenten Fish Chowder Luncheons for 27 years. She volunteered her time to many charitable causes. She enjoyed cooking pies, cakes and sweets for church events and her family.
Survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Tom; her children, Gregory, Edmonton, AB; Derek (Janet), Dartmouth; Karen Anderson (John), Dartmouth; loving grandmother and mentor to Erin, Heather, and Lauren of Dartmouth; Jennifer and Julie of Edmonton, AB; sisters, Hazel, Pearl, Myrtle, Violet, Carol and Lois; sister-in-law, Marney; many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brother, Weldon (Gladys).
Visitation will be held 7 - 9 PM today and Wednesday, March 2 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. A funeral will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 3 at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 8 Locks Road, Dartmouth. Interment will follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only.
