Hatfield, Harold Huntly-62, of Halifax and formerly Parrsboro, passed away July 25 at the QE II Victoria General. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of Harold and the late Christine Hatfield of Parrsboro.
Hal was kind and gentle, he always had time to talk and was always quick to volunteer to help others. He was a talented musician, playing a variety of instruments over the years. Hal was a special person and left a lasting impression on those he met.
He is survived by his siblings, Bev (Steve) Morris, Parrsboro, NS, Dana (Lana) Hatfield, Dartmouth, NS, Kim (Sandra) Hatfield, Fredericton, NB and Ian Hatfield (Adrienne), Moncton, NB; several nieces and nephews, as well as his extended family. Cremation has taken place under the care of A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. Interment will take place at a later date in Parrsboro.
