Of Dartmouth, NS, passed away August 16, 2021 at Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Hospital 5 West in his 99th year. He was born in Oyster Pond, Jeddore NS on September 19, 1922. Youngest son of Porter and Effie (Stoddard) Mitchell. He served in the R.C.A.F. during the war years; on his discharge he worked at the Bedford Ammo Depot until his retirement at the age of 55. He is survived by his loving wife of 76 years, Irma (Marks) Mitchell; son, Gary (Carol); several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents, five brothers and four sisters. There will be no visitation or service at this time. Private interment at a later date. We are so grateful to all the wonderful staff on 5 West Camp Hill for their wonderful care and friendship over the past 3 1/2 years.
