When my family moved to Dartmouth from Montreal, the Rafferty’s welcomed us with open arms. Since my grandparents lived outside of NS, Jack & Pauline became the closest “family” we had. They were more than neighbours to all of us. I have fond memories of seeing Jack working outside and running into him at the food court at Mic Mac mall. He’d always say “if you can’t be good, then don’t be bad”! I used to love going to their St Patricks day parties and knew that if Katie & I ever forgot our key that the Rafferty’s would help us out. I will always keep Jack close in my thoughts and hope that he is watching down on us.
Pauline & Family, my deepest sympathies for your loss. Our family is here for you & we are grateful to have you in our lives. RIP Jack xoxo

Pauline and Family:

You probably won't remember me as its been a long time but I worked with Jack in real estate. I worked in administration. Jack was a great guy - always had a storey to tell. I just lost a brother a few months ago and I still have a hard time believing he is gone - never easy losing a loved one. My sincere sympathy to all.
