Katherine Malay of Eastern Passage passed away on June 1, 2026 at 1224pm at the Dartmouth General Hospital. She was the daughter of Thomas and Marjorie (Lewis) Roberts born November 19, 1954 in Halifax, NS.
She is survived by her children; Anthony Malay and Candice McLaughlin (Robert); grandchildren, Leanne McLaughlin (Macaire), Catlyn Richard (Annabelle), Kelsie, Jayden, Maddison, Jacob and Daniel and great-grandchildren, Joseph, Kevin, Alexandria and Mia.
Katherine was always volunteering her time with the schools and different committees. She loved her family time and teaching all her family her crafts that she was always doing. She loved time with her dear closest friends, Tina T, Wendy Cook and her neighbour, Linda.
There will not be a service at her request, but a celebration of life will take place later in the summer.
Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Dartmouth General Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
