FRAZER, Patricia L. – Of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2019, surrounded by her loving family in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born January 31, 1936, in Toronto, she was the daughter of the late Thomas James and Lois Pauleen (Adams) Frazer. Patricia settled in Nova Scotia in 1983 after raising her two children. She was a real estate agent for 20 years. A straightforward person, she made many friends everywhere she went throughout her life. Patricia was a member of the Halifax Regional Newcomer’s Alumnae Club and participated in its Bridge Club and Book Club. An animal lover through and through, she supported the Bide Awhile Animal Shelter and Hope for Wildlife. Patricia was also a member of Women for Music and before arthritis restricted her activities she was a member of the Nova Scotia Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, where she sat on the Executive and was Chair for many years. Patricia also played squash, tennis and enjoyed horse riding. Patricia is survived by her son, William (Melanie) Morton and her sister Joanne (Dikran) Malatjalian, two nieces: Megan and Sydney Malatjalian, two grandchildren; Will and Livia Morton. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberley (2016). There will be no visitation or services. Patricia has asked to be cremated and her ashes interred next to her daughter at the Indian Brook Cemetery. Interment will take place in August.
