
MORSE, Lorimer James, 52 - Dartmouth, cherished husband and father, passed away peacefully with his family and loved ones by his side on Saturday, October 9 at the VG Hospital 7A, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Robert Morse and Wilma Rand Morse of Dartmouth.
Lorimer was a life guard, diver, curler, curling coach, and curling official. He was an avid craft woodworker and enjoyed making beer and wine at home.
Survived by his wife of 28 years, Ruth (Corbett); son, Jeffery, Dartmouth; siblings, Arthur (Mary), Bridgewater; Tina Morse, Kelowna, BC; Alan, Dartmouth; David, Eastern Passage; his loving niece and nephew, Audra and Derrick Abbott of Coldbrook; very special sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Darryl MacKeigan, Sydney; loving friends, Jody Snow and Travis Newport; as well as his curling family.
Predeceased by paternal grandparents, Lorimer and Mary Morse; maternal grandparents, Victor and Mary Rand.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Dartmouth. At Lorimer's request there will be no services.
