I was very saddened to hear of Lorimer's passing.  We lived near the Morse family in Dartmouth many years ago and Lorimer used to babysit for us. He also taught our children swimming lessons.  I remember him as a polite and caring individual. My condolences to all his family.

To Jeff and the Morse family, I am sorry to hear about the passing of your father and husband. I only met and new Lorimer from curling on Sunday mornings. He always spoke and had a pleasant attitude. It was clear that he loved the game of curling and was very competitive, but in a good way, when the game was over it was over, no matter the outcome. My thoughts are with your family at this time.

You made me remember what it was like to cry. On October 9th, 2010, God decided it was your time, your time to go, so he took your pain and suffering away.
And everyone felt the pain, the pain that you had been suffering. It's harder than I ever thought life could be without you. So we will always think of you, And we will always know that you'll be looking down on us keeping us safe making sure every thing goes okay in our lives, making sure that we live a good life just like you did, whispers of the pain, tears of love lost in the days gone by. We all miss you we want you to come back home. We want you back in our lives.  You are at peace now and you will never be forgotten.
Ruth and Jeffery, take each day one at a time, remember all the happy times and cherish them always and remember we are always here for you to share good times and bad, tears of laughter and tears of saddness.  Love you both and always in my thoughts and prayers.

I am very saddened to hear of Lorimer's passing.  I worked with Lorimer for over ten years at the call centre. During those years, I never once heard him say an unkind word  about anyone.  Lorimer was the consumate professional in his approach to work.  His personal qualities of kindness and compassion carried over into the workplace - he had a wonderful way of establishing a rapport both with his clients and his fellow employees.
