Marilyn Dianne Pinsent

She was predeceased by her parents Albert and Florence Pinsent, brothers Guy, Gerald, Lloyd and Bruce, sisters Jean and Cherie.

Marilyn was born in Buchans, NL and was the youngest of nine children. She graduated as a registered nurse from the Grace General Hospital in St. John's, NL. During her nursing career, she worked in various hospitals, including Raleigh, North Carolina and Toronto Western. While living in Toronto, she also worked part-time as a model. She returned to Nova Scotia where she worked in medical clinics and as a pharmaceutical sales representative.

She always enjoyed going "home" to Newfoundland to spend time with family. She especially enjoyed recent Christmas holidays with her nephew Dave and her great nieces, Sophie and Rhea.

Marilyn leaves behind her daughter Jaimie Harfield. She will be greatly missed by sisters Joyce and Mo and her many nieces & nephews.

Cremation has taken place. At Marilyn’s request there won’t be a service. If you’d like to do something in Marilyn’s memory, please consider a donation to your local SPCA or humane society.
