It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marion Carol Walker, in her 86th year, on October 29, 2024. Reunited with Ronald (1990) her dear husband. Loving mother of Dean (Tryphina), Christine, Ronald (Gail). Dear grandmother to Grant and Haley.
Marion was born and raised in Hamilton Ontario and was of nine brothers and sisters. Marion was a go getter traveling with Ronald as he was posted to various navy bases. Three children in tow she made it work settling in Nova Scotia. Marion worked for BMO which she enjoyed very much until illness struck her. Living with Myasthenia Gravis and Diverticulitis Marion battled these diseases' while still trying to have a quality of daily life.
After living with this for many years dear Mother is now pain free and at peace. We are most grateful to the Dartmouth General ICU for their compassion and kindness.
Memorial donations to the Myasthenia Gravis Society or Diverticular Disease- Gastrointestinal Society would be appreciated.
A private service for Marion will be held at a later date.
