FALLOWS, Norma Campbell (nee MacLellan) - Age 78 of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital on November 2, 2019. Norma, the daughter of the late Rev W. Lloyd and Elizabeth “Lib” MacLellan was raised in New Glasgow, NS and Cornwall, Ontario. She is predeceased by her devoted husband of 52 years, Bernard Fallows. She is survived by her loving sons John (children Alexander and Julia), Glen (Shelley and children Catherine and Michael) and David (Maya and children Nicholas, Thomas and Daniel), as well as her sister Margaret “Peggy” MacNeill, and brother William “Bill” MacLellan. Norma spent her career helping others as a nurse after graduating as an RN from the Montreal General Hospital. She worked at the Lachine General Hospital before working over 25 years at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Norma was very active in the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder and a member of the choir for over 35 years. Norma enjoyed many wonderful and active years golfing at Hartlen Point Golf Course. She took a keen interest in the lives of her grandchildren who were very dear to her and took pleasure in watching them play hockey, listening to their music concerts, and especially treasured time with the family at the cottage each summer at Sandy Bottom Lake. She had a passion for gardening, crossword puzzles, a good game of bridge, and cheering for the Blue Jays. Norma was fortunate to have an amazing friend network who she met through the church, golf course, hockey rink, and while living in Dorval, on Montrose Crescent, and at Kinross. They have blessed her entire life and have been extraordinarily supportive, particularly in the past few years. The family wishes to thank the medical team at the QEII for their thorough and compassionate care during her stay. Visitation will be held at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 216 School St in Dartmouth on Monday November 4th from 6:00-8:00 pm.
