Olive Rideout

Rideout, Olive - 76 of Dartmouth passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Harbour Mille, NL. She was the daughter of the late Amos and Mina (Pardy) Barnes. Surviving are her loving husband of 58 years, Howard, sons Lloyd (Judy), Halifax, John (Elaine), Kentville, Darrell (Cheryl) New Glasgow, daughter, Sandra (Lloyd Pardy), Dartmouth, brother Merrill (Vida) Barnes, sisters Florence (James) Keeping both of Harbour Mille, NL, Dorothy (Glenn) Matthews, Bay L’Argent, Meta (Ken) Wong, Grande Prairie, AB. Six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, predeceased by brothers John, Randell and Albert, sister Margaret. Memorial Service will be 1pm Thursday June 25, 2015 in St. Albans Anglican Church, Dartmouth. Rev. Frances Drolet - Smith officiating. Burial will take place at a later date back home in Newfoundland. No flowers by request donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
