Born October 25th 1939 in DeBaie’s Cove to the late Lawrence and Ella (Miller) DeBaie. Raymond joined the Army at a young age, which allowed him to see different parts of the world. He spent most of his life working construction for different companies around the Twin Cities, and his sweat is in many of the buildings you see today. He worked hard all of his life right up until his last days, even if his health did not allow him to do it at the speed he would have liked.
Raymond never asked for much in this world and was happy with what he had, with one exception…his newspaper had to be delivered on time, or they would hear from him!
He is survived by sisters Elva, Nola, Linda, Sandra, Mavis, Brenda, Marlene, Darlene, Wendy, Rita, Deborah, and Judith; brothers Rodger, Mark, Maynard, and Bradley. He was predeceased by his loving wife Alice in 2017; and brothers Reginald, John, and Myles; and sisters Phyllis and Irene.
Funeral service to be held on January 15th at 11:00am in St Thomas More Church. Committal to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
