Passed away on October 7, 2021, in Halifax, after a short time in hospital.
Born in Dartmouth in 1931, Rena was one of seven siblings born to Isabel (Hirtle) and James Oxner. She was predeceased by all of her siblings and by her beloved husband Donald Edward Thompson. She leaves behind her daughter Janet Thompson Mar and her granddaughter Alanna Mar, both in Ottawa, and nephews and nieces.
A private ceremony for immediate family will be held at Mount Hermon Cemetery in Dartmouth.
