Joyce, Richard Layton – 61 of Dartmouth passed away on October 20, 2015 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. He is the son of Wyman and Theresa (MacDonald) Joyce. Rick was a jack of all trades but most of his working life was at Maritime Steel as a welder. He loved the company of good friends and playing guitar with his brother Wymie who was also his best friend. He was a loving and caring person who would do anything for anyone. His life was too short and he will be sadly missed. He is survived by his brother; Wyman “Wym” (Wanda) Joyce, sisters; Dianne Blanchard, Lisa (Kevin) Joncas, children; Lauralee Joyce, Amy Joyce and Craig Smith, nine grandchildren. A memorial service with reception to follow will take place at 11am on Saturday October 24, 2015 in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street. Burial will take place at a later date.
