Age 37, of Eastern Passage. It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of a loving husband, brother, son, uncle, friend and grandson on May 7, 2021. Richard worked for Bird Stairs for 20 years, he was an avid golfer, collector of many things and he loved to watch WWE. Richard loved dogs, especially his dog Axel his late dog Joc. He was a major jokester, the life of the party and was always willing to lend a hand. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of nine years, Kathrinalyn (Roguel); parents, Janice Way and Richard Way (Kathy); siblings, Bradley Way (Angel MacRoberts) and Lisa Manning (Patrick); niece, Lexi Way; nephew and godson, Tyler Way; grandmother, Sandra (the late Joseph); aunt and godmother, Denise; uncle, Mike and aunts, uncles and cousins. Special thanks to the staff of the Halifax Infirmary 5.2 Neuro ICU and 7.4 Neurology for their care and compassion. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Richard’s honour.
