Rodney Boucher

He was born in Brockville, Ontario . He was the son of the late Wilfred Xavier and Katherine (MacMillan) Boucher. Rod graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts and from McGill University with a Master of Science. He practiced as a Clinical Audiologist for a short period of time until he became ill and was unable to work.

Thanks to all who have worked with Rod over the years particularly those associated with Community Living Centres, Inc. They provided his home away from home. Also thanks to the caring nurses and doctors at the Dartmouth General especially in 3W and 5W.

He was predeceased by his brother Raymond Albert Boucher. He is survived by his brother Dennis Boucher and sister-in-law Sylvia

He was a brother, friend and scholar. His affability was contagious. When he entered the room or your home he always announced himself “Hello, Hello Rod Boucher here”. Rod Boucher you are here in our rooms, our home and our hearts always.
