STINSON, Ruth Winnifred - 81 of Dartmouth passed away Monday July 13, 2015 peacefully at home. She was the daughter of the late Percy and Annie (Gallivan) Emberly. She was employed for 35 years with Maritime Tel & Tel until retiring in 1993. She is survived by her loving husband Hewitt “Hewie” of 58 years and daughter Susan Briggs. She is also survived by her sister Jeannette (Ford) Stinson, sister in law; Shirley Emberly all of Dartmouth, brother in law; Ken Daniel, Port Hope, Ontario and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Percy (Ralph) Emberly and sister in law Alice (Stinson) Daniel, son in-law David Briggs. By family request no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Family internment at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Bide Awhile Animal Shelter, Hope for Wildlife or charity of choice.
