Stephen Gary Munroe

Steve was a very kind and caring soul who always took care of the people in his life. He was a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything.

Steve loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, four wheeling and most of all spending time with his loved ones at his camp.

He also had a very wet cheek for a cold bottle of Keith’s beer. He loved his work as a Maintenance Supervisor in Baffinland.

Survived by the people he loved more than life itself, the love of his life, Amanda Hillier, his sons Stephen Isnor and Kyle Munroe, his daughter Emma Munroe and Amanda’s son, Tyler Hillier.

Also survived by his parents, Gary Munroe (Sherry) and Heather (Kevin) Clare, his step-sister Holly LaPierre, and his brothers, Bryan Munroe (Quincy) and Michael Munroe (Selina), and all his nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts, and many friends who he considered family including Denis Daigle, Blake Keizer, and Derek Sutherland.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 19th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home.
