Theresa Marguerite Labrador

LABRADOR, Theresa Marguerite – 95, of Eastern Passage, passed away on April 18, 2019 in the Ocean View Continuing Care Centre. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Georgina (Himmelman) McKay. Theresa worked for the Nova Scotia Hospital for 25 years and enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by son; Charles (Theresa) McKay, of Dartmouth and daughter; Patricia Nowlin, of Cole Harbour, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, special confidant; Tammy Victor and Wayne Teal. She was predeceased by her husband; Elmer, daughter; Josephine Teal, brothers; Clarence, Chester, Phillip, sisters; Lavinia, Beatrice and Viola. Visitation will take place from 5-7pm on May 31, 2019 in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home. Father P Hanna officiating. Memorial service will take place at 11am on June 1, 2019 in St Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Passage. Interment in St. Andrew’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Special thank you to the staff of Ocean View Continuing Care Centre.
