Age 49, Dartmouth, left this world suddenly on July 30, 2025. Trevor was a gentle giant, known by all for his sweet soul and calm spirit. His easygoing personality and kind hearted ways made it easy to love him and want to be around him. Trevor was the best person to attend live concerts and wrestling matches with; his enjoyment and energy during these events were contagious. From a young age, Trevor was an avid fan of comic books, superheroes, and video games. Many shopping trips with his family and friends were aimed at adding to his collection (sometimes even under the guise of shopping for something else). Trevor was employed at Walmart and Giant Robot Comics. His passion for comics made him an easy person to talk to and a well-loved friend and colleague to all who entered the store. For many years, Trevor took on the role of caregiver for his mother. This commitment to his family was a true testament to his huge heart and caring nature. He loved spending time with his family and always gave the best hugs to his loved ones. With Trevor, you could feel his warmth and love in everything he did.
He is survived by his sister, Jody (Ryan) Huestis, and his little sister by choice, Lindsay (Dave, Scarlett, Sloane, Savannah) Milner. He is also survived by aunts and uncles Dawn and Larry Mason, and Donna and Lloyd MacDougall, as well as cousins Darren Smith, Brandon (Alison, Parker) Ward-Smith, Alyssa (Eric, Raelynn, Lainey, Aiden) Ward-Smith, and Alison MacDougall. He is predeceased by his parents, Leigh and Judy Myers; paternal grandparents, Orland and Ruth Myers; and maternal grandparents, John Howard “Howie” and Noreen MacInnis. Special thanks and appreciation to Lisa Rhyno for her care and for making sure Lilleigh, his pride and joy, has the best home. Our deepest thanks to Darryl and Amy Wall for being there for Trevor in so many ways.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 7, between 2-4 and 6-8 at A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. Donations may be made in Trevor’s memory to MS Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Nova Scotia SPCA, or CBLDF (Comic Book Legal Defence Fund).
