MacKENZIE, Vivian J. — 86 years of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax, on July 8, 2011. Born in Molega, Queens Co., she was a daughter of the late Hector and Jennie MacQuarrie. Surviving are her husband, Harvey; sisters, Gwen Uhlman (Albert), Marilyn Spurr (Philip), Jeanette Turner (Arlyn), all of Pleasant River; brothers, Ronald (Lorraine), Bridgewater; Gerald (Evelyna), Pleasant River and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Clarke, Kendall and Douglas MacQuarrie. Memorial service 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13 in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home. Burial at a later date in Pleasant River.
