Arthur B. Hoeck

Funeral services for Arthur B. Hoeck, 81, of Davenport, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25th, 2013 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:00 Noon until service time at the mortuary. Mr. Hoeck died on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport. Arthur Bernard Hoeck was born on December 17, 1931 in Davenport, IA, the son of Albert and Alma (Nelson) Hoeck. On December 29, 1956, he married Ruth V. Dixon in Davenport. She preceded him in death in August of 2009. Mr. Hoeck worked at the former Franks Foundry in Davenport prior to their closing in 1977 and then worked as a supervisor for Pinkertons Security retiring in 1999. He is survived by- a Daughter: Peggy Hoeck of Davenport; a Special Nephew: Lonnie Hoeck of Davenport; 8 Grandchildren, numerous Great and Great-great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter Karen, 2 grandsons, a great-granddaughter, 3 sisters: Lucille, Alberta, and Lanora, and 2 brothers: Laurence and Albert.
