Benny Ray Johnson, 62, of Davenport passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. He was born February 13, 1951 in Oxford, MS, the son of Noel and Cora Lee (Mitchell) Johnson. He was a musician and enjoyed music.
Those left to honor his memory are son, Jarvas, Davenport; sisters, Dorothy Barry, Chicago and Margaret Willingham, Bettendorf; many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jimmy Johnson.
