Big heart, beautiful smile, happy go lucky and please don’t ever forget... Smooth. These
qualities came to life in the form of the man we came to know and love, Beanz The Magnificent
or Lil Benny. Whichever you choose to refer to him as, you knew without a doubt, you were
speaking of one of the most genuine, loving, good natured individuals you were ever going to
meet.
On April 17, 1990 Benny was born to Sarah Wells and Benny Stansil Sr. and from the very
beginning Benny warmed their hearts the same way he would warm those of everyone he came
in contact throughout his life. Lil Benny loved his parents and worked hard to make them
proud. Benny was heartbroken by his mothers untimely passing but made sure to live each day
with the values and jewels she instilled in him. Lil Benny’s biggest hero was his father Benny Sr.
and the two had an inseparable relationship. Lil Benny loved being around his Dad and never
hesitated to let him know how much he meant to him. Lil Benny was blessed to have such
amazing parents.
At a very early age, Benny accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and attended church regularly
with three women he loved and adored, his Great Grandma, his Grandma and his Mother.
Of all the great things Benny has done and enjoyed, they all fail in comparison to his greatest
joy of all, being the father to his beautiful daughter Kalaya. Benny relished being a Girl Dad, he
loved every moment of being with and there for Kalaya. From dance recitals to her birthday
celebrations, Benny knew that his precious daughter was his greatest accomplishment.
Benny’s educational journey started at Bethune Preschool, before moving on to Duncan
Elementary, Pulaski Middle School and Roosevelt High School, where he graduated as a
member of the class of 2008. Beanz The Magnificent excelled at Visual Art all throughout
School and loved to draw in his spare time. Upon graduation, Lil Benny received a scholarship
to University of Northern Iowa, where he would go on and make friends who would eventually
become family.
An avid sports fan, Benny was a ride or die Ohio State Buckeye football fan and a proud
member of the Miami Heat Nation. He loved to play video games and was a beast at online
gaming. Benny´s legacy will be one that touched the hearts of so many because he was a
selfless individual who always offered to help others, gave very genuine words of reassurance
and support and did it all with his one of a kind smile. Whether it was a coworker or a classmate
Benny was always the one guy you could count on to stay in his lane and embody the meaning
of “Good Vibes Only.”
Benny was preceded in death by his mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Benny
leaves to cherish his memory a beloved father, Benny Sr., a daughter Kalaya, and a host of
aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and close family and friends. Benny also leaves to
cherish his memory, The Butler Family and his best friend Armani.
A special thanks to the Pearson Family
