My cousin Cathy was definitely one of a kind. She was always so sweet. I loved talking to her when I'd have my styled. Nothing beat her scalp massages, outstanding laugh, giggles and her voice. I am heartbroken to hear about Cathy’s passing. She was a wonderful woman and a dear friend for over 25 years. Throughout all the years she cut my hair, she remained the brightest spot of my day. I will truly miss her warm smile, her "Hello Mr. Dan" greetings, and her warm hugs when I left with a “I’ll see you next time”. 

I am still in shock, especially as I was scheduled to see her last Tuesday. While I am deeply saddened that there will be no more "next times," I take comfort in knowing that heaven has gained an unbelievable angel and she is laughing with Judy and all her loved ones.

Ron - Cathy loved you dearly and spoke of you fondly every time we caught up. My thoughts and deepest sympathies are with you during this difficult time.

Our sweet cousin, Cathy, was loved much and will be missed greatly.

There are not enough words to describe what a beautiful, kind, loving  woman Cathy was. She was my hairstylist for the 9 years I lived in Bettendorf.  But she was also a confidant and friend. Every 5 weeks (except during Covid) I looked forward to my 9 am hair appointment. I knew Cathy would listen, with no judgement, to the things going on in my life. And we talked about her husband and family, too. The day before I moved I had Cathy do my hair. We cried and hugged and vowed to stay in touch. I have two reminders of Cathy EVERY DAY. My two Pomeranian dogs. She knew I was looking for a Pomeranian and sent me a notice from the paper. I went and got one the very next week AND the next week after that I got ANOTHER.  The world lost a very special lady. I will miss you, Cathy!!!!!!

Our Beautiful Cathy wil be missed by so many.  She was my stylist /colorist for over 20 years. My husband has been going to Cathy also.I loved her welcoming smile and cheery attitude. Cathy was as much a friend as a stylist and I will miss her.

I am so sorry to see this.  She was my stylist for decades.  She was amazing and never said no.  She even came to the nursing home when I was doing rehab to cut my hair.  So many mentioned her massages and they were awesome.  We will all miss her so much.  I know she has her wings  👼 My sympathy to all the family.

I have known Cathy for 20+ years and am so saddened that she is gone. She was not only my hairstylist, but also a dear friend. She always asked about my kids and loved seeing pictures of them, as well as my fur babies. We would talk about her family often and how much she adored them. I will forever miss my dear friend — and her amazing head massages.

This is a lady who will be missed by so many.  I'll never forget her laugh and when she talked to you it sounded like a smile.  She has been my colorist for so many years, and I had confided in her in ways I did with nobody else.  I always learned something new when I was in the chair, and the head massages she gave were out of this world.  I wish she was still here, but she lived a good life while she was.

Cathy was a good friend and a wonderful hairstylist.  It’s difficult to believe this kind soul has gone home so soon.  She will always be in my heart remembering her beautiful smile and the stories we shared.  Rest in peace.

I’ve known Cathy for 23 years.  She was a wonderful, kind person.  She was a great stylist/colorist.  It’s hard to believe she’s gone.  Will miss her smile and laughter.   She is now with her beloved sister.  Sending sympathy to her family that she adored!  Rest in peace Cathy! 💙

One of our cousins lunches, we always looked forward to getting  together . this was 2020        ( Covid) but we still managed  to  spend some time with family

Cathy was like a Sister to me.  We worked together for almost 30 yrs. She gave all of herself to any stylist who wanted to pursue their career, and was a Mentor to me as I was preparing to become Nationally Certified in Haircolor.  I learned so much from her, not to mention her scalp massage at the shampoo bowl!  She was the best!  I’m going to miss her terribly and still can’t believe she’s gone.  I’m happy to know she is with her sister, Judy, and her parents, in Heaven.  They just gained “an angel with golden wings!  She was “that” to me.

Words cannot express my deep sadness on the passing of dear Cathy. She is the kindest person I have ever been blessed to know.  The only condolence is that she will be in heaven with her dear sister now.
