Colleen Bonney, 66, of Davenport, passed away at her home on Sunday, September 9, 2012, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Visitation will be from 4:00- 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Scott County. Mrs. Bonney was born February 13, 1946 in Davenport, the daughter of William and Violet (Flint) Ihrig. On May 15, 1982 she married Paul A. Bonney in Davenport. She was a homemaker and provided daycare for numerous children for many years.
In former years she was an avid bowler and enjoyed crafting and playing bingo.
Survivors include: her husband, Paul; children, Melissa (Chuck) Appleby, Paul W. Bonney and Rick Bonney; grandchildren, Bailey and Breann Appleby; brother, David Ihrig, and grandma Ruth Fisher. Numerous beloved in-laws and step-siblings also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
