Dad, 
It has been 1 year today since you left this world.  I know you are in God's House now, but we sure do miss you here along with so many others.  Mom is doing okay, she misses you so much. She visits you regularly and leaves angels and crosses (and maybe a fish sculpture or two)at your grave.   Nights are hard for her.  Scott and I cannot bear to go to the site. Neither of us want to think about you being there.  We prefer to keep you living on in our memories.  Zay misses you too, but being the smart little girl she is, she understands and she keeps you in her heart.  Oh Dad, I miss you every day.  I know one day we will see each other again, but your loss made a hole in so many lives that is nearly impossible to fill.  There is no one of this earth quite like you.  YOU ARE LOVED AND MISSED DEARLY!!!!

Dear Nancy, 
I was so shocked when Marlys sent me the news of Darrell.  I often tell my patients and friends about the time Darrell took me ice fishing and my amazement (being from KY) that we could drive a car out on the ice.  I can still hear and see him read his poem about Don just over a month ago at his services.  He was truly a special man and I know he will be truly missed.  As I know your heart is broken I also know he continues to live on in Christ and the people he touched.

Darrell and Nancy were our first friends when we started Crafting. They became our best friends.  Ron and I always had so much fun when we were together.  I know what Darrell is saying right now to me "Pat you are the slowest eater I have ever seen"  then he has that so special smile and laugh.  We will so miss you; but know you will have a seat for me at the table when  it is my turn to come home.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you Nancy and your family!.  Darrell taught me alot about treating others, as I want to be treated.  He always reminded me about home; Loving nature, God's beauty that was provided, hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, etc.  He helped me get on at Fred Priester Landscaping and taught me alot as I worked alongside him.   I worked out beside him many days at the 8:30 class at the gym, and will miss hiim alot!  Wishing you god's peace and healing!

So sorry Darrell is gone, I am so happy we got to talk at the Christmas Cot. tage not long ago. He will be missed. Shirley Duncan

Darrell was well-loved at the gym.  In all my years of instructing there, I don't ever remember him not being in a positive mood.  He was always ready with a story to tell, and sometimes even a poem.  He was a true servant, sharing his mission trip experiences.  He was fun to have in class and we will all miss him dearly.  God bless your family with comfort and strength.

Darrell will be missed dearly, I have known him for a long time and will be a great   loss. Im positive he will be playing raquetball in heaven and still making his own rules

What a shock for all of us at the fitness center. Darrell was always there with a smile and often sharing some of his fresh caught fish that he had cooked that morning. He was the only person I know that could make fish taste that good for "breakfast"! Our moring family will not be the same without him! Our prayers are with your family. Whenever I saw Darrell he was always so happy with a smile on his face. He was a great man and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and especially his son Scott and his granddaughter Zaylee. I know I would be lost without my father.  However I know he will be blessed to be by the side of his Lord and Savior and is smiling down on all of us.

I can't believe Darrell is gone. I know he is with Our Lord, but I wish we had more time with him. The raquetball court will seem empty without him. I will always cherish our friendship, and remember him for the wonderful friend he was.
