A visitation will be held on Tuesday September 16, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to3:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory in Davenport, Iowa. Memorials may be made in Deborah’s name to the Scott County Humane Society or Fresh Start Center- Humility Homes and Services. She will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery following a private service. Online condolences may be made at www.rungemortuary.com.
Deborah was born on March 25,1952, in Davenport Iowa to Lawrence and Neva Bruce. She retired from Oscar Meyer after 25+ years of service and went on to work as a bus monitor for the Davenport School District. Deborah loved gardening, taking care of her yard and her Yorkies, Mackenzie and Lui. She also enjoyed swimming and in her younger years she was a lifeguard. She will be missed by many.
Those left to cherish her memory include brother, Terry Bruce; nephew, Matthew; niece, Angela; close friends, Janet Daugherty and her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Larry.
