Funeral services will be 12:00pm on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. The family will greet friends from 10:00am to 12:00pm Monday at the mortuary. Burial will follow at National Cemetery Rock Island, IL. Memorial may be made to The House of The Lord Church Davenport or the American Cancer Society.
Diane Alice Hinton was born April 29, 1952, to Chester and Edna M. (Allen) Wyatt Sr. in Iowa City, Iowa. She is a Davenport Central graduate Class of 1971. She attended Teikyo Marycrest University. She was united in Marriage to Fred A. Hinton on March 29, 1971, in East Moline, IL.
Diane loved cooking, singing, decorating, drawing and loved working with Children. Diane worked for 10 years at the Handicapped Development Center. After retirement she became legal Guardian to three clients. Diane attended House of the Lord Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, in charge of the kitchen, made flower arrangements and set up communion. She was active in the church helping wherever she was needed. She loved the Lord.
Those left to cherish Diane's memory are her husband Fred Hinton Davenport, Iowa; her children Matthew (Heather) Hinton, Rachel Hinton; Stepdaughter Micah Broell; Grandchildren Kya Diane Hinton, Frank Wells lll, Alexander Wells, Olivia Hinton, Eli Hinton, Merisa Ashbough; great grandchildren Kamyiah Diane Hinton, Kamarion Wells, Armani Wells; brother Michael Wyatt (Dolores); and sisters Beverly Johnson and Sharon(Richard) Hinton both of Davenport, Iowa
Diane was preceded in death by her daughter Monica Hinton.
