What can I say about Don Westphal? I have known Don for over 40 years. His son Rich was best man at my wedding. Don was one of the people I listed as a reference on my resume. He did my taxes for years. Every time he did my taxes, he went on and on about his family and what they were up to. I loved hearing him brag about his kids and grand kids. He was one of my hero's. Rest in peace Don.

I just found out today that Don passed away. I have known him a long time thru my mother Susan Ehmsen. I am sorry to hear this and had always enjoyed being around him and the kids while growing up. God rest in peace Don, love always to the family.

Hi Petie, so sorry to hear about Donald.  He was always such a kind and gentle man.  You were lucky to have him.  I'm sure he will be missed by many including me. Don was a great and the most honest man that I ever had the pleasure of knowing.  He was a joy to see and talk with.  I will miss seeing him around and have a heavy heart that he is gone.  Prayers and peace to the family knowing that your loss is heavens gain.

I am so sorry to see that Don has passed away.  I went to school with Christina at Trinity Lutheran.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Westphal family!

It was with great sorrow that I returned home from vacation yesterday to receive word that Don had passed away.  I knew he was not bouncing back like he always seemed to in the past, but I was still very surprised.  He has always been an example of pressing on and not giving up - coming to the gym even when in pain.  I will miss him in class so much.  He was one of my star students - even though he did miss a class or two from time to time to either golf or be there for a grandchild. ;)  His devotion to his "Lovely Bride" was sincere and a great example.  Love, hugs, and prayers to you!
