Donna Carter Fiedorowicz

Donna C. Fiedorowicz, 71, of Davenport, Iowa; passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 with her family by her side. Per her request, cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on January 7, 2023 at 11:30am the Berean Baptist Church. Memorials in Donna’s name may be made to the family for funeral expenses.

Donna was born on December 12, 1951 to Donald and Anna Mae Carter. She was united in marriage to Ronald Moore, he preceded her in death. Donna later married Stanley Fiedorowicz, he also preceded her in death. Throughout her life, Donna was a faithful child of God. Her favorite verse was 1 Peter 1:13 KJV, “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ”.

Donna loved to cook, crochet, knit, needlepoint, and draw. She loved her houseplants and making others laugh with her wonderful sense of humor. She worked as an International Sales Manager for GNB Batteries and for the US Navy as a Procurement Clerk. Following retirement, Donna greatly enjoyed working as a volunteer with Genesis Hospital.

Those left to honor Donna’s memory are her children Alison Moore (Vance Miller), Emily (Dale Snow) Moore, and Alex Moore (Miki); grandchildren Ariona Cross, Alastair Moore, Xander Moore, and Max Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Gwen Carter, a baby brother, and her first love Ronnie.
