Dorothy Louise McFedries

Dorothy L. (Conklin) McFedries, 68, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at her home. A memorial service will be held at Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 1601 N. Utah Ave. on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 11a.m to 2 pm. Bring a story or two about how Dorothy touched your life and share with us as we say our goodbyes.

Dorothy was born on October 11, 1955 to William and Geraldine Conklin in Davenport, Iowa. She was a 1974 graduate from Davenport West High School. Dorothy was united in marriage to Norman McFedries on March 16, 1996. Dorothy always had a kind word, and open arms for anyone who was lucky enough to know her. She loved spending time with her children and her many grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory are her husband Norman; children Scott (Tia) Conklin, Nathan (Alexis) Conklin, Austin (Mishel) Conklin, Norman (Mariah) Conklin, and Kelsey (Jessie) McFedries; grandchildren Sophie,Scotty, Camilla, Kaylie, Karlie, Katie, Kylah , Kaylin , Madison, Addison, Ailah, Atlee, Ronin, Richie, Prescott, Annabelle, Bentley, and Aidyn; and two sisters Nancy (Tenn) Allshouse and Cyndi Conklin. She is also survived by her dog, Greta who brought her many hours of joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
