Elinor G. Moore, 91, of Davenport, Iowa passed away peacefully Monday, February 26th, 2018 at her home. Memorial services in celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, March 2nd at Edwards Congregational United Church of Christ, 3420 Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. Burial will be at Pine Pleasant Baptist Church, Saluda, South Carolina.
Elinor was born December 23, 1926 in Saluda, SC and has been a resident of Davenport for the past 44 years. She enjoyed traveling, swimming, cooking, and gardening. She is survived by her husband Herbert E., and son Christopher of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents and her two older brothers, Charles and Swaim Sheppard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Edwards Congregational UCC.
