Frances Dorothy Moritz

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park. Frances was born in Davenport, IA on February 26, 1936 to Frank and Franciska (Pietzonka) Sellman. She married Dale Moritz on October 24, 1959 in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2007.

She was a member of the Blue Grass Legion Auxiliary 711, AARP, and the Plus 60 Club. Her interests included playing bingo, feeding and watching birds, gardening, and tending to her roses. She was employed for 25 years at the Rock Island Arsenal.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Richard (Sara) Moritz, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
