Helene H. Schellhorn, 87, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Davenport Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, April 17, 2015 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Helene was born February 8, 1928 in Tipton, IA a daughter of Paul and Myrtle (Drummond) Bolton. She married Lloyd H. Schellhorn, Jr. on September 5, 1948 in Davenport. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2012. Survivors include her children: Vicki (Dan) Collier, Atlanta, GA; Charles Schellhorn, Anchorage, AK; Jeffrey Schellhorn, Davenport and Barbra Schellhorn-DeVault, Erie, IL; grandchildren: Alex Collier, Wil and Nick Collier, Cory (Magen) Blanchard and Steven Schellhorn and a great granddaughter, Annabella.
