They were married for 62 years before Dallas passed away in 2012. They farmed the Muscatine and Cedar County area, making their family farm in Lowden until moving to Davenport in 1970.

Those left to honor her memory are her sons, David (Julie) Jurgens of Long Grove, IA, and Ronald (Jane) Jurgens of Tomah, WI; granddaughters, Dana (Paul) Moran of Chicago, IL, Rebecca (David) Vannier of Council Bluffs, IA, and Rev. Catherine Jurgens of Waukon, IA; and great grandchildren, Dylan and Harper Vannier of Council Bluffs, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dallas; daughter, Lori Jurgens; brother, Clarence “Red”; and sister, Pauline King.
Thank you to the Ridgecrest staff at Oakwood Assisted Living and Compassus Hospice for your kind and gracious care. She thought the best of you.
