

James “Jim” Eugene Bingham, 58, of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no service. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
Jim was born March 20, 1956 in Davenport; the son of Marlin and Billie (Starnes) Bingham. He worked as a millwright for Alcoa where he met his long-time companion, Donna Meadows. He had a green thumb and loved growing houseplants of all kinds. He also had a passion for fishing, hunting, being outdoors, the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Chicago Cubs. He also loved working on cars and had a knack for Jeopardy. Jim had a great sense of humor and was a proud father of his five boys.
Those left to honor his memory include his companion, Donna; sons: Jim, Randy, Gabriel, Matthew and Aaron Bingham; step-daughter, Brittney Misner; grandchildren: Brody, Nathan, Malik and Lilith; his loving mother, Billie Bingham and siblings: Marlene Shadrick, Duane (Linda) Bingham, Dan (Lori) Bingham, Dave (Cheryl) Bingham, Janette (Doug) Tice and Marilyn (Steve) Hurt. His father preceded him in death.
