Jaykob M. Helm-Bousman, 5, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Genesis East Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM Wednesday at the mortuary. Cremation rites will be accorded. Jaykob was born April 5, 2006 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Matthew Bousman and Amanda Helm.

Survivors include: parents, Amanda Helm, Davenport and Matthew Bousman, Clinton; siblings, Brianne Wood and Izayah Wood, Davenport and Wesley Bousman, Clinton; grandparents, Paula and Mike Venema, Bettendorf, Michael and Luann Helm, Tipton, Judy Bousman, Clinton, Larry Manley, Bettendorf; great grandparents, Raymond and Rev. Joanne Schlegel, Milton, IA; aunt, Shayna; uncles, Logan, Dalton, Joseph and Michael; special care providers, Rada, Marilyn, Martha, Nancy, Robin, Jody and Megan; and many special friends and family too numerous to mention.

Jaykob was the light of his Mom’s life. He loved to play with his brothers and sister and his special puppy, Layla. He brought much joy and love to those around him and touched many peoples’ lives. He will be forever in our hearts.
