Graveside services for Jerry L. Cook, 76, of Davenport will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary in Davenport at 1:00 p.m. Mrs. Cook passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Good Samaritan Society in Davenport. Jerry Lou Mixell was born on March 6, 1937 in Stanwood, IA the daughter of Jean Swift. On October 3, 1956 she married Forrest E. Cook in Milan, IL. He preceded her in death in 1993. Jerry enjoyed socializing on the phone, collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia, and playing bingo. She is survived by her three Sons: Terry (Terry) Cook of Davenport, Jim (Geri) Cook of Davenport, Larry Cook of Toronto, IA; 20 Grandchildren, 36 Great-grandchildren, and 6 Great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Cook; grandsons, David and Scott Cook; and a great-grandson, Cody Munn.
