Joanne Hendricks Seymour-Snicker

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M., Thursday, July 7, 2011 at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the mortuary. Joanne was born on April 25, 1956 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Marion and Ruth (Nelson) Hendricks. She married Gary T. Snicker on September 1, 2006 in Nashau, Iowa.

Joanne was currently a newspaper carrier for the Quad City Times. She loved her job and had been a carrier for many years. She had a green thumb and loved working in her flower garden. Joanne also loved to cook and spend time with her family. She dearly loved her dogs, Blackie and Rain. She was a one of a kind person. There was no one else quite like her. She worshipped her cars and they all had to be Toyotas.

Those left to celebrate her life are her loving husband, Gary; daughters Kim (Mitch) Hill, Bettendorf and Trisha (James) Roark, Rock Island; and grandchildren Colleen, Patrick and Bridgit Roark, and Austin and Kristen Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers David and Jim Hendricks, and her son Jason Seymour.
