A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, August 22, 2022 in The Runge Mortuary Chapel with visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M. Joseph was born June 28, 1983 in Davenport, IA to Thomas G. and Robin (Tague) Peters.
He was a graduate of the University of Iowa and Carnegie Mellon University, where he received a Master’s Degree in healthcare policy and management. Joseph was a long time employee of the medical I.T. company, The Cerner Corporation, serving as a program manager.
Joe was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and a devout catholic. He loved the outdoors, good food, a good book, and spending time with his family and friends.
Those honoring his memory include, his mother Robin Peters; brother Phil (Erin) Peters, Connecticut ; sister Rebekah (Joseph) Rodgers, Louisiana: six beautiful nieces, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Thomas G. Peters.
