Kirk D. Knickrehm, 67, of Davenport, IA, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 422 E. 10th Street Davenport, IA. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Camp Courageous and Assumption High School. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Kirk was united in marriage to Karen Lensch on June 29, 1985. Kirk worked with the Iowa State Department of Transportation for 30 years, retiring in 2017. His hobbies were following NASCAR, the Chicago Bears, and Iowa Hawkeyes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Marjorie (White) Knickrehm; and his brother-in-laws, John Schlump and Kevin Lensch.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; sisters, Laurel Schlump, Margo (Paul) Rottinghaus, and Beth Ann (George) Blough; brother-in-law, Gary (Lee Ann) Lensch; and 11 nieces and nephews.
