He was united in marriage to Carol White on April 28, 1992 in Davenport. Larry was employed by John Deere, retiring after 39 years in 2013. He had a great work ethic and was respected by all of his co-workers.
Larry loved old cars, especially his '69' Ford Mustang. He loved going to the Indy 500, and NASCAR races.
He enjoyed woodworking. He made amazing pieces of furniture through the years. Larry was the nicest, most generous, unselfish man that we all knew and loved. The children used to say 'You're a Maintenance Engineer, you can fix anything', and he would definitely try his best.
Larry is survived by his wife Carol, children; Michael (Christine) Rich, Chris (Lori) Abbitt, Brian Rich, Robert Rich, Jennifer (Chuck) Stone, Todd (Teri) White, 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sisters: Patti (Bill), Kathy, Linda (Brein), Brothers: Tom (Tammy), Mark, and David.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Sandy, daughter Terri, and a daughter-in-law Angie.
Everyone who knew him will have a special place in their hearts and will miss him a lot. Until we meet again, I love you Honey.
