Linda Rae Beck

Davenport, IA There will be a celebration of life service at a later date for Linda R. Beck, 72, of Davenport, Inurnment will take place at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island. Linda passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society, Davenport. Cunnick - Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.Linda Rae Wendler was born on April 6, 1945 in Davenport, the daughter of Rudolph and Roseline (Enderton) Wendler. She worked as a quality control inspector for 20 years at Continental Can co. She married Clarence Pleau in 1963, Thomas Stoltman in 1980 and Wayne Beck in 2001,they all preceded her in death.Linda was a member of AFL-COI Local 4454, Milwaukee, WI. She served as Past-President for #1202 A.A.R.P. of Scott County. She was also a member of the Eagles F.O.E. 235, Davenport. Survivors include her daughter; Bonnie Paul of Racine, WI, son; Mark (Lisa) Pleau of Racine, WI, step-son; Bryan (Dawn) Stoltman of Milwaukee, WI, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister; Sylvia Stagg of Milwaukee, WI., Debra Heim who was a very special niece, care-giver, and advocate for Linda during recent years.She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Tracy Pleau and brother, Rudolph Wendler Jr.Remembrances and condolences may be made to the family at www.cunnick-collins.com.The family would like to thank the staff and physicians at Good Samaritan Society for their care during Linda’s stay at the facility.
