Linda Lee Cole

Born April 2, 1958 in Fort Huachuca, AZ, Linda spent 19 fulfilling years working at Cat Scale before retiring in 2017. Linda was united in marriage to her husband Kevin “KC” Cole on August 26, 1990, in Dickson, TN.

Linda is survived by her husband, KC, of Walcott, IA; 2 daughters Michelle (Ramon) Rodriguez of Michigan and Jamie Van Wasshenova of Michigan; 2 grandchildren Aden Rodriguez and Jillian Baumia; and 2 sisters in Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers.

A passionate cooker, Linda relished the opportunity to try and create both new & and old recipes. She took joy in canning fresh produce from her garden and was known for her homemade cooking which she loved sharing with others. Linda also cherished the time spent motorcycle riding with her husband, exploring new places together.

Linda chose cremation and there will be no services. Memorials in her honor may be made to Supportive & Palliative Care at the University of Iowa Hospitals, a cause close to her heart.
