Linda Dinwiddie

Linda Dinwiddie, 77, Rock Island, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, surrounded by her family. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2:00 at The Rock Island Moose Lodge. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Linda was born July 4, 1945 to Curnie and Edith Hendrickson in Macomb, Illinois. She married Charles Dinwiddie, November 10, 1962 Rock Island, Illinois. She was a homemaker. Gatherings with family and friends brought her great joy, particularly listening to all the kids laughing and playing.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Chuck; daughters, Lana (Ernie) Weed, Debby (Curt) Chipman, and Cheri (Kelly) Hollett; son, Chuck (Shannon) Dinwiddie; grandchildren, Heather (Tim) Sunlin, Amanda (Brad) Barker, Josh (Kim) Collins, Amber (Ryan) Boom, Dustin (Kathy) Hollett, Chris (Jessica) Hollett, Jesse (Tabbie) Hollett, Ashley (Josh) Osterberg, Austin, Lexi, and Adrianna Dinwiddie; step-grandchildren, Jason, Austin, and Mackenzie; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Lucas, Wesley, Maddy, Broden, Damon, Gavin, Karli, Lauryn, Madilyn, Noah, Josh, Bennett, Sloane, Graham, Damien, Anthony, Evelyn, MacKayla, Aiden, Brooklyn, and Wren; sister, Nancy McCombs; brother, Bing (Delores) Hendrickson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Betty, Barbara, Esther, Dona, Beverly, Patsy, Sue, and Sandra.
