Loretta M. Roenfeldt

Loretta was born on October 11, 1926 to William and Hazel (Jones) Peel in Slater, MO. On March 17, 1946 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Kenneth Roenfeldt in Davenport, IA.

Loretta was a retired seamstress and also retired from Von Maur. She loved to crochet baby blankets for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a giving, kind and Christian woman, who loved to watch old westerns, her favorite was Bonanza.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Lori Wouters, Richard (Judith) Roenfeldt, Sandi (Steve) Winter and Scott (Sandy) Roenfeldt; along with 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; son, Michael; son-in-law, David Wouters.

The family would like to express overwhelming gratitude to Dr. Erinn Ayres and her nurse Jodi, Illini Infusion Center, and Genesis Hospice for their compassionate care of Loretta.
