

Marilyn M. Kurtz, 76, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fort Gratiot, MI. She was born on April 26, 1936 in Port Huron, MI, the daughter of Max and Marion (Robinson) Tosch. She married Donald Berlinn and later Thomas Kurtz.
Marilyn was a lifetime homemaker most recently employed by Davenport River Center and Sacred Heart Rectory. She loved museums and all the arts and was a member of the Putnam Art Guild. She enjoyed playing bridge, dancing and the outdoors.
Those celebrating her life include three daughters, Deborah Schnoor Barber, Denton, TX, Shari Ruhberg, Denton, TX and Vicki K. Berlinn, Woodstock, GA; stepson, Anthony Kurtz; grandchildren, Robert and Kyle Schnoor, David and Melissa Ruhberg, Devin Smith, Valeri and Nathanial Saldivar; great grandchildren, Jonathon, Jeremiah and Elizabeth Schnoor; two nephews and five nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Maxine Brown and Marion Alloway.
