Marlys Faye Grubbs

Marlys F. Grubbs, 76, of Davenport passed away with her family surrounding her on Monday, April 10, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. She was born October 14, 1940 in Fort Dodge, IA a daughter of Lloyd and Lillian (Eidet) Caylor. Marlys Caylor was united in marriage to Don Grubbs in June of 1957 in Davenport. She retired from ALCOA. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed dancing with her husband and traveling, especially to Branson, MO. Survivors include her husband, Don Grubbs; son, Brad (Rhea) Grubbs, Davenport; Daughter, Candy (Chad) Cribb, Bettendorf; grandchildren: Rachel Bjurstrom, Peter Grubbs, Morgan Parkhurst and Cody Parkhurst; great grandson, Ari Grubbs; sister, Marcia Lorenz, Spokane, WA; brothers, Dale Caylor, Glendale, AZ and Joe LeBarge, Dewitt, IA and many nieces and nephews. Marlys was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Caylor and Lillian LaBarge.
