Michael Seth Brodersen

Michael Seth Brodersen, 25, of Bettendorf, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery. The family request casual attire for all who attend. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.rungemortuary.com. Michael was born on July 22, 1990 in Bettendorf, the son of Dan and Tammy (Searle) Brodersen. He grew up in Bettendorf attending Bettendorf High School and later Scott Community College where he studied Computer Technology. From a young age, Michael demonstrated and extraordinary ability to build things, especially electronic devices, from custom RC cars to sophisticated drones. Michael always had a project going on. As a teenager, he even built his own computer. Michael channeled this ability well as an adult, working for Sayers as the Apple Administrator at John Deere. He also worked part time at Best Buy in their customer tech department. Michael will be remembered most for the type of person he was. He was kind, thoughtful and giving. He was a hard person not to like and had a beautiful heart. Those left to honor his memory include his father, Dan Brodersen; mother, Tammy Brodersen and sister, Amber Brodersen, all of Bettendorf. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Margaret Brodersen and John and Barbara Searle and uncle David Brodersen
